The caller contacted the duty officer to report that during a storage tank removal they found diesel range organics above default target levels under the dispenser numbered 1/2. The caller stated that the tank pits appeared to be clean and the issue was at the dispensers. The caller stated that the product piping was plugged in place and new piping was likely already installed. This is not a phase two investigation. The caller stated that they removed three storage tanks and installed two new tanks. The caller also noted that there appears to be an old water well at the site and it had not been inspected. The fueling station did appear to get their water from a different system and this well may be inactive. This incident was referred to the department's Tanks Section.
